The Millennial Parent's Problems with Social Media
It's 2023, and we are living in the world of Instagram and Social Media Virtual World.
Let's admit it, we as parents took more time understanding how reels function than our Gen-Next kids who seemed to crack it in no time. Any new algorithm update or changes on Instagram, I check with my teenager, 'coz chances are that she knows it before me!
But that said, as a parent, I am going to be cautious about my child's time spent on social media, especially Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook etc.
There's so much to gain from the community and social groups and it can inspire her to achieve more. But what about the threats? Is she safe in the cyber world? What about trolls, and DMs from unknown people? We read so much about cyberbullying every day and it's quite worrisome.
